Aluminum Clad Steel Wire

ACS

Aluminum clad steel wire

A composite conductor that combines conductivity, corrosion resistance, and mechanical strength by cladding aluminum over steel wire.

Overview

Aluminum clad steel wire is used in a wide range of applications including OPGW, ACSR/AW, and HSTACIR (High Strength Thermo-resistant Aluminum-clad Invar-core Aluminum alloy Conductor). By producing Aluminum Rod in-house, we supply cables with enhanced corrosion resistance, high conductivity, and excellent durability.

Key Features

Wide range of conductivity (ACSR/AW)

We offer a range of conductivities from IACS 14% to 40% based on customer requirements. Uniform and thick aluminum cladding ensures excellent corrosion resistance and tensile strength.

High durability (OPGW)

Through a special heat treatment process, we maximize the durability of ACS Wire so that OPGW can be reliably supported over the long term.
